Waiting for the birth of your baby is an amazing time...you are doing your best to create a healthy environment for him or her to grow, dreaming about what he or she will be like, reading to learn all you can about pregnancy, birth and parenting, shopping for clothes and baby care items, and trying to decide what name will suit your little guy or gal.  You've chosen a care provider you trust.  Maybe you have taken childbirth courses and tried to learn about your birthing options.  Now you are thinking about the big day.  So much joy and preparation surrounds your
baby's birth!

As you have considered your baby's birth and all of the unknowns, you'd like to have additional support to guide you through this process.  Whether you're planning a natural, unmedicated birth or are unsure of your birth preferences, having a trained doula can make a world of difference in your birth experience. 

As a doula, I would be there to help you with comfort techniques, provide information and encouragement, advocate for your needs and preferences, and help create a peaceful, calm environment for one of the most precious events of your life.
